Richmond Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan

Unfortunately, we didn't get her name, but at check in, a young woman working at the front desk, who told us she had spent some time living in New Zealand, was REALLY, REALLY kind, and helpful. She recommended nearby Wakana restaurant, which was AMAZING. We ate there for dinner, both nights of our stay in Kagoshima. Secondly, she told us about Shiro Kuma Ice Cream Shop, which was right down the street from the Richmond Hotel. We ate dessert there after dinner, both nights we stayed in Tenmonkan. The location of the Richmond Hotel in Tenmonkan was perfect for us. The hotel, our room, the lavish breakfast buffet, were all PERFECT! We will definitely stay at Richmond Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan on our next visit to Kagoshima.
